Q. How are books organized on the shelves?

Answer

Books are organized by the Library of Congress Classification System.  (You may be more familiar with the Dewey Decimal Classification / System from your school or public library.)  LC gives a location code for each book; it is on a label on the book’s spine.  You can find the details posted by each range of shelves, or ask our library staff for help.
